At Sadhana we believe that quality and workmanship aren't a thing of the past. Our boards are made in the traditional way using no large factory machines or mass production technology. Utilising strong quality laminates, vintage cotton inlays, custom stringers, resin tints and hand foiled fins, we guarantee a 100% hand shaped and finished surfboard.
With over 25 years surfing, body surfing and ocean paddling experience, Sadhana Surfboards have been tested globally and are proudly made on New Zealand's South Island by Jay Jackman.

| Stumpy |
We have been so wrapped on how planing hulls surf, we've dedicated 2 new shapes, the Stumpy and Mk2 Harbourmaster, to our range of models. The first of these, the Stumpy, is a short, stubby twin fin in the Mini Simmons style. The bottom contour consists of 3 parts; front third hull, middle third flat and tail third exit concave/chined rail. The stumpy turns with a low centre of gravity and through the middle of the board. Will surf superfast lines from knee to head high with ease and loves a long wall. For both shortboarders and longboarders alike. Be warned though...The Stumpy could possibly change your whole outlook on surfing. |

| Mk2 Harbourmaster |
New for 2011, we have re-imagined our mid-length trimmer into a truly mid-length planing hull beast. We've kept the original V-tailed feel under the back foot, but flattened the rocker in the nose and tail, widened the front third and flattened the deck roll. The result? A faster, down the line feel, that feels remarkably longer, narrower and buoyant than the dimensions say. Complimentary to the Stumpy in mid rail turning and front foot projection. Get down low, and go go go. |

| Timber Classic |
As long as Sadhana has been around, we've had a love of timber surfboards, for their aesthetics, glide and craftsmanship. We have been lucky enough to shape some various styles for customers over the past few years, and with this in mind we have updated our gallery to include these into our quiver. Whilst various techniques exist in the construction of timber boards,we have stuck to the more traditional line of chambered lengths of South American Balsa or NZ grown Paulownia as our basic timber of choice, and utilising various other soft and hard timbers for stringers/fins. These are laminated together and finished with glass/resin. You are guaranteed of a solid feeling board under your feet, that will last the test of time (and probably your grandchildren's). We offer classic styles of boards from shorter fish styles, mid length planning hulls and trad longboards. A functional surfboard for the purist amongst us.
